I am currently working as a resident artist at the Filmverkstaden premises in Vaasa, Finland. The residency is a part of the “Analogue Adventure” program. To celebrate my stay we will organise a screening of my films on June18th. More info here and here.


The film “Who Has Seen the Wind?” is now available online as a part of the 2024 Experiments in Cinema Festival’s virtual edition until May 18th. The film is a part of a program titled “Experiment 5” and you can watch it here. The online video also contains a discussion between me, Chelsea Werner-Jatzke, Dean Winkler and Kamila Kuc.


The film “Who Has Seen the Wind?” is now on display at the “Artists’ Association of Lapland Spring Exhibition” at Gallery Napa, Rovaniemi, Finland from May 4thth till May 28th 2024. More info here.

The film “Pienkaupunkisinfonia” / “Picturing a Micropolis” will be screened as a part of the The Kino Pleme / Live Soundtrack project in Florence, Italy on April 13th. The screening will take place at the local ARTiglieria venue and the film will be accompanied by a new live score performed on the spot by Transink. More info here and here.

The film ”Vesitornisinfonia / Water Tower Symphony” will be screened at Ribalta Experimental Film Festival in Italy on March 16th. The film will be displayed as part of a program titled “METONIMIE, architettura ed ecologia dello sguardo” (METHONYMS, architecture and ecology of the gaze). More info here and here.


AV-arkki (the distribution centre for Finnish media art)  has just published its distribution catalog for 2023-2024 and “Vesitornisinfonia” / “Water Tower Symphony” is one of the selected works. The catalog was curated by the AV-arkki staff and guest curator Julian Ross. More info here.


The film “Pienkaupunkisinfonia” / “Picturing a Micropolis” will be screened as a part of the The Kino Pleme / Live Soundtrack project in Podgorica, Montenegro on November 28th. The screening will take place as part of the local Univercity 3 – festival and the film will be accompanied by a new live score performed on the spot by the local musicians Transink, Nikola Delibasic (22hz Laos) & Ljubomir Bacovic (Fast Release). A shortened preview version of the film “Vesitornisinfonia” / “Water Tower Symphony” is now on display at Studio Mustanapa, Rovaniemi, Finland. The full film will be released in 2023, but this special preview version will be exhibited until October 18th 2022. More info here and here.


I’m currently working on a film called “Vesitornisinfonia” / “Water Tower Symphony“. Although the full film will be released in 2023, some shorter special versions will appear in a few selected events before that. The first one of these is a shortened five screen installation version of the piece with music by Lauri Uusitalo. This version was created especially for the media art event “Outoja Tiloja” (“Odd Spaces“), which will take place in Rovaniemi, Finland between September 9th and 11th 2022. More info here.

The film “Pienkaupunkisinfonia: 96100-97690″/ “Picturing a Micropolis:96100-97690” will be screened in Helsinki, Finland in November 2021 as a part of the “Space, Environment, Architecture” – exhibition. The exhibition is first on display in Puristamo, Cable Factory from November 3rd to 7th, and after that in MUU Helsinki Contemporary Art Centre in the same building till November 21st. Young Arctic Artists 2021 exhibition has now traveled to Norway and is on display in Alta at the local Alta Kunstforening’s gallery until November 4th 2021. I have co-curated the exhibition as a part of a 4-member curatorial team. More info here.

The film Pienkaupunkisinfonia/Picturing a Micropolis is now on display in the Artists’ Association of Lapland’s 30th anniversary exhibition “Wiping the Ice-Cream Off your Face – 30 Nordic Artists’ Perception on De-Arctification“.
